Members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) have been cautioned by David Mark, the party’s acting national chairman, that the party will not tolerate any anti-party behavior or lack of discipline.
The former Senate President reportedly revealed this to some ADC members in Abuja.
Mark emphasized that only dedicated ADC members would be carried along in the grand scheme of things under his leadership, saying there is no middle ground in the coalition.
“Anti-party and any kind of indiscipline will not be tolerated; you are either in ADC or you are not,” he declared.
“We won’t bring people who aren’t with us along halfway through this enterprise.
“Those who are not fully dedicated will not be supported.”
From the polling places up to the national level, we will flip our grassroots leadership structures to reflect contemporary circumstances. All the organs were revitalized.
“Our policies, nominations, and roles will reflect the fact that we will open the gates for the next generations.”
ADC, however, declared on Tuesday that it already had more than 100 elected legislators nationwide and 28 senators.
According to reports, the party presented this update during its Abuja-based National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.
According to the party’s founder and first National Chairman, Ralph Nwosu, the ADC has been stronger both nationally and at the state level.

He claimed that the party’s choice to turn down financial offers meant to change its course and lessen its influence as an opposition voice was the reason for this advancement.
Nwosu clarified that the party has been able to draw in serious politicians and gain the trust of voters by refusing to be influenced by money.
He claims that the ADC currently has over 50 lawmakers in various state assemblies and over 46 members in the House of Representatives.
According to him, the party already has more than 100 elected officials overall, and the number is continually rising.
