He was reportedly in charge of a six-person terrorist organization affiliated with the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), a Boko Haram breakaway group.

Photographs that Zagazola was able to collect revealed a scrawny young man wearing a blue tracksuit, who looked strikingly similar to his father, standing with a group of obviously older prisoners.

According to intelligence sources, Abdrahman is the younger brother of Abu Mus’ab Al-Barnawi, also known as Habib Yusuf, the current commander of ISWAP. Six suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP members were arrested, according to Chadian authorities, but they did not provide detailed information about who they were.
