Nigerian skit creator President Bola Tinubu and Nigerian senators have come under fire from Nollywood actor Debo Adebayo, better known by his stage name Mr. Macaroni, for the country’s increasing terrorist attacks and mass kidnappings.

According to reports, Mr. Macaroni’s remarks came after the most recent terrorist attack in Niger State, in which children and employees of St. Mary’s School, a Catholic school in the Papiri town of Agwara Local Government Area, were kidnapped.

Mr. Macaroni criticized Tinubu’s security management in a Friday post on his 𝕏 handle, claiming that his “incompetence” is to blame for the ongoing kidnapping of pupils.

The performer also chastised the Senate for not calling President Tinubu due to the nation’s recent insecurity.

“President Tinubu, you claimed to have all the solutions to put an end to terrorism!” he wrote. You claimed that a president is incompetent if they are unable to defend the people!

“Your negligence is the reason behind any kidnapping of schoolchildren! You are responsible for the terrorist attack that resulted in the bloodshed of Nigerians.

And to the Senate of Nigeria! Good heavens! You folks are really worthless! Swearing fealty to the President you are meant to be checking and balancing, our Senate sings, “on your mandate we shall stand.”

“On behalf of the Nigerian people you should be representing, you are unable to even call the President and pose questions! However, they are skilled at distributing our funds (prayers) to their mailboxes and using the same authority that Nigerians have granted them to persecute them! Lots of embarrassment!
