The Centre for Convention on Democratic Integrity (CCDI) has strongly condemned the vile propaganda, targeted harassment, and cowardly whispering campaign of calumny being orchestrated against Mr.Ojulari, the newly appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
In a statement issued on Monday by its President in Lagos, Comrade Olufemi Aduwo, the non-governmental organization (NGO) stated that it has become clear that certain disgruntled elements, many of whom have long fed off the systemic rot within the oil and gas sector, are deeply disturbed by Mr. Ojulari’s bold commitment to sanitising the NNPCL.
These unpatriotic actors, determined to undermine the ongoing changes, have used malicious insinuations, disinformation, and underhanded techniques to erode public trust and foster conflict within the Presidency.

The statement says in part: “Let it be said unequivocally: Mr. Ojulari rose to this role not through intrigue or favoritism, but through demonstrated competency, moral clarity, and an unflinching record of service.
” His early steps have already signaled a return to fiscal discipline, operational openness, and the recovery of national assets from oil thieves and established cartels.
“We are aware that these national adversaries, threatened by the collapse of their illicit pipelines and privileges, are now attempting to trap security agencies, mislead political actors, and poison the public arena. They are not just assaulting a man; they are attacking Nigeria’s sovereign energy future.
“We urge on His Excellency President Bola Tinubu, the National Security Adviser, and all patriotic institutions to remain firm. Mr. Ojulari’s success means Nigeria’s success. Betraying him means betraying the mandate for reform and national survival. Nigeria will not be held hostage by saboteurs posing as nationalists.
