The convener of Peace Ambassadors Global received Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, a member representative of constituency 02 at the Lagos State House of Assembly at his official premises to work hand in hand with the representative due to his efficacy in discharging administrative duties in his 4 years of rule as a representative of the people in Alimosho, through building infrastructural developments and public support.
The pressmen present had a media chat with Hon. Kehinde Joseph, the 55 years old who is a very prominent figure to be reckoned with due to his educational disposition, experience and knowledgeable leadership qualities.
Looking squarely at his intellectual capabilities, one would refer to him as an astute thorough bred with a fair enough educational achievement. He is a masters holder in public administration from university of Lagos, a BSc in public administration from Lagos State university, has an advanced diploma in desktop publishing from NIIT Ikeja and a diploma in computer programming from university of Lagos.
Furthermore, he is a fellow chattered Institute of administration in Nigeria, a fellow in chartered Institute of personnel management of Nigeria, a fellow in chattered institute of public management in Nigeria, a fellow in chattered institute of human resources and strategic management of Nigeria. Having gone through a lot of leadership training certifications, CIBs from lots of well known and reputable international organizations worldwide, he noted that he has the capacity and capability to lead and to be re-elected as a Honourable member in Alimosho constituency 02 at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Talking about his journey so far as an administrator, he recounted his achievements in the first 4 years of administration which includes: The ability to facilitate 28 roads to Alimosho federal constituency with the help of Mr.Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu, the construction to completion of 3 bridges, a bridge from okooloyun to Ipaja ayobo, one from abaranje to akesan, also from Ijegun to Festac. The construction of link roads as well as major roads has been done too and this includes: Ademoye, Onilewura and other roads.
Hon. Kehinde Joseph also facilitated the rehabilitation and construction of Ultra Modern PHCs, hospitals at Ajisegiri, Olorunfunmi grammar school at idimu, abaranje to mention a few. All these hospitals have been upgraded to school of nursing and lots of changes has been done through the help of the legislative, he noted.
When it comes to environment, Hon. Kehinde have been able to clear the drainage at IPI, Agodo and others as well as enhance security measures which has invariable promoted relative peace. This has been achieved by the utmost support of the Chief security officer in Alimosho which is the area commander in synergy with my office to curtail crime, he said.
For the youths, he mentioned various empowerment program carried out through Lagos State empowerment trust fund which a lot of the youths benefitted from. Also as the chairman committee of Agriculture, the youths benefitted from a training program called Lagos State agricultural Entrepreneurship program. Some of these youths now have poultry, some are into fisheries and still enjoying it. The Lagos State not only trains them but gives them start up capital, we provide facilities for them to gather experience at least for 6 months with no fee attached and lead them to establish themselves, he said.
Hon. Kehinde also facilitated admission for youths into the prestigious Lagos State University, Graduates also benefitted from employment opportunities after attaining a degree . For those in secondary and primary school they are being given bursary and educational sponsorship. Bole hole was created for schools and communities, medically recommended eye glasses was given to at least 1000 persons as part of the empowerment and support programmes…

After the end Sars protest some youths were given a minimum of a 100k to 100 persons , empowerment program of POS to persons to start POS business was also given. There is more to do and as such, I will want to be given more opportunity to continue in my capacity to support the people of Alimosho not minding tribe or religion, Hon. Kehinde said.
He further stated that as a legislator he has his governor, Babajide Sanwoolu who should also be voted in for a re-election bid as this will enable him as an administrator to continue to lobby for the development of his constituency,
Hon Kehinde said:
” As a ranking member, freshers won’t be able to compete, it should be business straight away with my reelection bid because I am not starting as a fresher but will ensure continuity of what I’ve started and take it to greater heights.
Most of those who benefitted from empowerment and support programs as well as infrastructure are not mainly from my party, I served everyone’s purpose without scrutiny or segregation, I will always do publicity about empowerment and not intervene in its proceedings, embracing all without prejudices or tribalism, you don’t need to know details or Peoples interest before you help them, just follow the procedures I don’t need to know you. “
Citing an example, he said:
“When I was a special adviser to the governor of civic engagement those who knows me then knows the way I operate, whenever I see your document I treat it because I believe everyone has equal right”.He also recounted an experience he had with a benefiary of an empowerment program done in the past and how he was given preferential treatment by someone yet he couldn’t even remember the face nor the person but a show of his good deeds without preference has earned him a good name.

Lastly he talked about his engagement with the convener of Ambassadors of Peace Global, Amb. Ezewele Cyril Abionanojie, he stated that peace is needed in Lagos State and Nigeria, devoid of tribalism and sentiments, only peace can develop the country. As a government the oat sworn is meant to defend the territory as well as promote peaceful coexistence in the country, a reason why I will work in synergy with High Chief Amb. Cyril Abananojie to keep peace, enable votes to win and express what I’ve done for the people, Hon. Kehinde stated.
