Ajibola Bashir, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC), has declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is a broken system that is unable to govern Nigeria.
This was said by Bashir, the APC National Secretary, on Wednesday in Abuja at the ceremonial reception of Nicholas Ossai, a former PDP member, at the party’s national office.
He claimed the excessive aspirations of politicians and inadequate coordination were to responsible for the crisis frightening the opposition.
The primary opposition party, he said, is a broken institution that cannot be relied upon to govern the nation once more.
Only the ruling party in Nigeria, according to the secretary, is still becoming stronger than the other political parties.
“I doubt there is a politician in Nigeria who has radiated hope and support for many politicians,” he said, praising Ossai for recognizing President Bola Tinubu’s accomplishments.
Bashir declared: “Our party is still the strongest of all the political parties in Nigeria, and you can see that the opposition parties, especially the Peoples Democratic Party, are in a serious crisis brought on by excessive ambition and poor coordination.”
The issue is whether Nigerians can have faith in a party that is unable to govern the nation with its own house. Thank you for leaving that already-deteriorated building, then.

The center can no longer hold in the PDP since the umbrella has shattered, Ossai, who represented Ndokwa East/Ndokwa West/Ukwuani of Delta state on the party platform, said reporters following his meeting with Bashir.

I’m glad to have joined the APC today, and I’ll work with the grassroots leadership to ensure that the APC seizes Delta State in 2027.
The APC will first win control of my local government’s House of Assembly, which I will produce, and, with God’s help, my 12-year-old federal constituency.
