The popular Nguru central market in Yobe State’s Nguru Local Government Area is currently ablaze.

A witness, Abubakar Ibn Usman, said the fire started about three hours ago and is still ravaging the market’s second-hand clothing section.
He claimed that the inferno has already destroyed shops and stalls containing goods worth millions of naira.
