Former National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Waziri Bulama, has criticized former Attorney-General of the Federation Abubakar Malami over his comments against Senator Tanko Al-Makura.
Remember how Al-Makura’s organization claimed that members of the APC’s Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) faction had endorsed President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 elections and ruled out defection? Malami had previously denied these assertions.

Al-Makura and his group, Malami claimed, were smearing former president Muhammadu Buhari in an attempt to become politically relevant.

During a Wednesday appearance on Arise News, Bulama responded to Malami’s proposal by stating that Malami is not qualified to speak for anyone.

He said, “For heaven’s sake, who is Malami, even though Buhari appointed him as Justice Minister? He has no right to speak for anyone on any matter.

He went on to praise Tinubu for taking the late Buhari’s memory seriously.

To honor President Buhari, the president has gone far enough. For him, he oversaw the state funeral. His grief was profound. “Friends and political partners” is how Buhari and Tinubu described themselves. The APC, which ended identity politics and created history by winning three consecutive presidential elections, was brought about by their alliance, he said.
