For lowering the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from N990 to N970 per liter, the Dangote Group has received praise from the Christian Youth Forum (CYF).
According to the group, the action was a blatant indication of the company’s dedication to the welfare and well-being of the general public.
Christian Youth Forum President Rev. Joshua Pam signed a statement praising Dangote Group founder Aliko Dangote as a “angel sent by God to bless and prosper our nation.”
“Many people have been inspired by Dangote’s selfless and charitable deeds,” the group said.
The group predicted that Nigerians will be greatly impacted by the drop in petrol costs, especially over the Christmas season.
As Christians, Pam stated: “Matthew 25:40 reminds us of the biblical principle that the King will respond, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of these least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'”
As an example of this philosophy in action, the Dangote Group decided to lower petrol costs, and we applaud them for being a real friend of the people.
Additionally, the cost of products and services will be positively impacted by the decrease in fuel prices. Fuel prices will decline, which will lower production and transportation costs and, ultimately, lower the cost of goods and services.

The exorbitant cost of living has been making it difficult for many Nigerians to make ends meet, so this would be a welcome reprieve.
In addition, Pastor Enoch Adeboye received praise from the CYF for urging Christians to offer prayers for the Dangote Group and their endeavors to operate their largest refinery.
The organization called on other petroleum sector participants to follow the Dangote Group’s lead and lower their pricing in order to improve the lot of Nigerians.
In addition, the Christian Youth Forum prayed that God would continue to benefit and grow the Dangote Group’s company and that other stakeholders and business leaders would emulate them by being kind and understanding to the general public.
