According to veteran journalist and former PDP presidential candidate Dele Momodu, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is still the only Nigerian politician who can take on President Bola Tinubu.

According to Momodu, other politicians lack the guts to challenge Tinubu, including Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate.
Furthermore, he forecast that Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, will finally be fired by the president after fulfilling his political mandate.
Momodu said, “Atiku is the only one today who is not afraid of Tinubu,” during an interview with The Honest Bunch podcast. No one else can confront him, not even Mr. Peter Obi, whom Atiku [in 2019] exploited.
Additionally, he asserted, “I have no doubts that they [the presidency] will use him and dump him.”
Momodu clarified his stance on President Tinubu’s lack of support, saying, “Yes, he helped me in the past, but I have also done a lot for him before.” Although he is a really generous and caring person, politics?
