The lawmakers were pleased with the steady increase in Enugu State’s yearly budgets since Governor Mbah took office, according to a statement signed by Caucus Leader Rt. Hon. Nnolim Nnaji.

The pattern, according to them, is indicative of a planned and organized economic reform roadmap.

The Caucus emphasized the budget’s consistent growth from N521.5 billion in 2024 to N971.084 in 2025 to N1.62 trillion in 2026.

The legislators claim that this increasing trend shows that Governor Mbah’s proposal to increase the state’s GDP from $4.4 billion to $30 billion a year is already producing noticeable outcomes.

They praised the budget’s heavy emphasis on social welfare, healthcare, education, infrastructure development, and economic growth—areas they said are essential to sustainable development and improved citizen quality of life.

The lawmakers also praised Governor Mbah’s use of cutting-edge drone monitoring technology to improve statewide security.

They pointed out that the invention has significantly improved public safety by lowering kidnapping incidents.

The lawmakers reaffirmed their support for the governor and promised to work with his administration going forward to develop policies that advance security, economic development, and the welfare of Enugu State’s citizens.
