Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has described President Bola Tinubu as a project deliverer.
Akpabio also described Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike as a miracle worker.
The message was delivered by the Senate President who represented Tinubu at the commissioning of the newly constructed Airport Road (Bill Clinton Drive) to the Tungan Madaki Community as part of projects marking Tinubu’s third year in office.
Akpabio said he was confident that the new constructed road would last 40 years without pot holes.
“Mr President, I felt a bit emotional as you were speaking, so because of that, I would stick to the address of Mr President, the miracle worker and Mr project, the Honourable Minister of the FCT.
I also come from a community, so I know what it means to wait 37 or 40 years without a road and coincidentally the company that built this road worked with me for eight years of my administration as a governor.
One of the roads they did for me was commissioned about 15 years ago, till today there is no pot hole. So when I came and saw that they handled this road, I was very sure that especially with the terrain in the FCT, we are looking at 25 years without pothole.”
“So I want to commend you on using very good construction companies.
“I am here to represent the President of Nigeria Bola Tinubu I think they should call him Mr deliverer, a man who delivers and doesn’t matter if they criticize him he continues to deliver.
“Mr project, they don’t like you, they don’t hate you, you keep delivering.
“I knew you would bring the work you did in Rivers State to the FCT, but they were doubting. “Many didn’t know that the former governor of Rivers State can come here and do the kind of miracle you do on daily basis.
“Nigeria never in the history of this country had a minister that would fix commission for 30 days in a month. I appreciate Tinubu who brought this miracle work and Mr project to the FCT, sir I appreciate it and thank you.”
