Due to frequent flight cancellations and delays, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) called Air Peace in on Friday.
Capt. Chris Najomo, the DGCA, instructed Air Peace to enhance its domestic operations right away and reduce operations to the number of aircraft in its fleet in order to lessen the issue.
The DGCA made the complaint during a meeting with some airline management personnel in Abuja.
The airline reps acknowledged that it had some issues that are common in the industry, but they also stated that they were working around the clock to address them.

Although the NCAA would continue to assist the airlines, Najomo said that operators must abide by the rules and international best practices.
In order to assure compliance, he cautioned that the NCAA was stepping up its oversight of flight operations on all airlines.
