Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida has been named the next Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University, Lafia, FULafia.
The appointment letter, dated October 29, 2025, had this information.
According to the letter, Prof. Kida will serve a single five-year term starting on February 11, 2026.
The university council, meanwhile, voiced confidence that he would use his extensive experience to further the institution’s expansion and advancement.
According to reports, Prof. Kida will take over for Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, who would retire in February 2026.
Prof. Kida was the Dean of the Faculty of Management Science prior to being appointed.
The Chairman of the FULafia Governing Council, Mrs. Lola Fibisola Akande, gave the competent accountant his letter of appointment.
