Christopher Musa, the Minister of Defense, has revealed that some forces plotted against him, but his ascent to national leadership was largely attributed to his faith and divine intervention.
Musa disclosed that his ascent in rank was the result of God’s intervention during a trying time in his life.
At a recent worship service at Conquerors Global Assembly in Abuja, the former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) gave this testimony.
Reminding them that “because we serve a living God, He will never give up on us,” he again exhorted Christians to hold firm.
“We give God the glory for what has occurred this year,” he declared. The enemy was unaware that God would raise us up, even when they believed they were knocking us down.
“They plotted and believed they had won in their tiny minds. But you will succeed as long as God is your cornerstone.
“You can never advance in life if you are never challenged. Nigerians are aware of our strength, but when we work with God Almighty, we are even more powerful. Nigerians have triumphed. We must keep praying for our nation and its leaders.
On December 2, President Bola Tinubu sent the Senate Musa’s nomination for the position of Minister of Defense.
Mohammed Badaru resigned owing to health concerns, and the President chose Musa to succeed him.
