According to Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) would not be alarmed by any opposition or meetings of opposition leaders.
Only Nigerians would determine which party would win the 2027 election, according to reports from Governor Uzodimma, Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum.
At the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday, the APC Governors Chairman made this statement. The NWC also signed a contract with Tunmef Global Limited to start the party’s digital membership registration process.
The beauty of democracy, he underlined, is still up for debate, and the APC was prepared for it.
“We don’t care what the opposition says.” We have an obligation to set up our party such that it is respected globally.
The APC is not a party founded on the premise that there won’t be any competition, and we are anticipating elections. Without competition, no democracy can exist anywhere in the globe. Nigerians will make the decision,” he declared.
APC National Chairman Umar Ganduje spoke at the event and stated that the digital registration process would assist the party in keeping track of its members and resolving issues with membership lists in court.
Without this kind of documentation, we are only skirting the issue. We are certain to have scientific data from this activity, though, that we may utilize at any time. Searching for a membership list during litigation can occasionally provide a contentious one, which makes your case more difficult to prove in court. Our data can be readily retrieved in its original form with e-registration,” he stated.
President Bola Tinubu was congratulated by Ganduje for approving the digital registration.
As a party, we’re continually creating history. Thank you for approving our digital transition, Mr. President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Despite being conceived long ago, this initiative has just recently been implemented, he said.

In the phase of execution, he called on state party chairmen and governors to back the project company and the exercise.
