While in the UK in June with her husband, Banky W, and their two sons, Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington revealed details of a potentially fatal health concern.
In an emotional Instagram post, the actress disclosed that she had a life-threatening emergency operation, calling the event both harrowing and life-changing.
In June, she wrote, “I might have died.” My ordeal was terrible, and it culminated in an unforeseen operation that, oddly, was the least dramatic aspect of it all.
Adesua clarified that the incident took place during her two speaking engagements in the United Kingdom.
Her survival was attributed to supernatural intervention, as all the circumstances of that day came together to save her life.
“I wouldn’t be here now if that one aspect had been different. “I shudder at the thought,” she remarked.
According to the Sugar Rush actor, the experience strengthened her faith and made her appreciate life even more.
“God is real, no matter what anyone tells me,” she said.
She continued by exhorting her followers to live compassionate lives and to treasure every moment.
“We ought to make the decision to be more patient, loving, calm, forgiving, kinder, gentler, and softer. I, along with you, will never take another day for granted,” she continued.
