Nasir El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, has indicated that he cannot hide his position on topics.
He said this in response to an X user, @irahabib, who complimented him on his book, ‘Accidental Public Servant’.
After reading the book, the netizen was sure that only a politician who sincerely wants to build the country would include El-Rufai in his cabinet.
The user wrote: “The day I read El-Rufai’s book Accidental Public Servant, I concluded that no politician would want @elrufai in their cabinet unless they truly intend to develop this country.” He’s not very good at pretending.”
Reacting, El-Rufai commented, “Thanks for your warm remarks, @irahabib. I really don’t know how to fake. Being a Nollywood actor in governance is for others, not for us. Have a wonderful day. – @rufai”

The former governor has recently made headlines for attacking President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, or APC.
El-Rufai stated that the APC no longer has internal democracy, pointing out that no party organs had met in the recent two years.
At an event in Abuja, the former governor stated that he no longer recognizes the APC due to a lack of internal democracy.
