Nigerian singer Spyro has disclosed how he met his wife Janet Atom. Spyro explained that they met each other in a nightclub.
In an interview with Esther Feyi, it was reported that the music star explained that she was out having fun and they did not meet. She was working at the club then instead.
He said he wasn’t criticizing clubbers but it was her job at the club that attracted his attention.
Spyro said he was curious why she worked there, and struck up a conversation with her.
As they kept talking they built a friendship that was made stronger by the time.
In that friendship he later realized she had all the qualities he had been looking for in a life partner, the singer said.
He explained that when they first met he wasn’t thinking about marriage but his feelings for her grew as he got to know her better.
“I met my partner working in the club, not partying in the club, but that doesn’t mean partying is wrong. But she was working there and that’s how I got to know her. I was interested to know why she was there, and why she was working at the club, and that was what made me have my first conversation with her.
We talked and we became friends. “The one day my eyes popped up and I was like ‘Oh what I have been looking for was right in front of me.’ because I wasn’t really thinking of making it a lifetime thing, so I said before I quickly miss it, lemme swing into action…” he said.
