A video showing the execution of three Nigerian soldiers has allegedly been released by the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), a Boko Haram faction that is associated with the Islamic State.
It was reported that a portion of the video clip that the media outlet was able to obtain captured the moment the insurgents used firearms to shoot the Nigerian soldiers.
The horrifying incident was reported to have occurred on March 15, 2025, in Yobe State, which is in northern Nigeria.

According to reports, the troops were taken in the state’s Azare and Kamuya regions.

According to the aforementioned video, the three people were seen kneeling in a field and identifying themselves as Nigerian security forces members before being shot at by masked attackers dressed in military garb.

According to reports, ISWAP has been stepping up its presence in the Lake Chad region since the passing of JAS leader Abubakar Shekau.

Due to the departure of many Shekau-aligned Boko Haram fighters, the group’s numbers have grown dramatically.

The Nigerian Army frequently downplays reports of casualties and has maintained that the insurgency has been relatively contained.

The terrorist organization has been responsible for nearly 100,000 fatalities and has displaced millions, mainly in the states of Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe.
