Former President of the Nigeria Musicians’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Charles Oputa aka Charly Boy has reacted to the seizure of Nigerian jets in France.
Recall that a French court reportedly impounded three Nigerian presidential jets, including a recently acquired Airbus, as part of an ongoing legal dispute.
The seizures, which include a recently purchased Airbus A330 connected to the Nigerian government and valued at more than $100 million, come after a protracted legal dispute between a Chinese business called Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd. and a sub-national nation.

While reacting to the seizures, Charly Boy cast doubt on the legitimacy and openness of the Nigerian government, arguing that the planes’ presence in France presents serious issues regarding the administration’s moral character.
He wrote, “The seizure of three Nigerian presidential jets in France has led to significant confusion and embarrassment due to a legal dispute involving the Ogun State government and the Chinese company Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd.”
“Abegi una, weytin 3 Nigeria government Jets doing in France? Is that Tinubu’s second home? Can an illegitimate and illegal government ever come clean? Why so many Nigerian criminals deported from the US full inside APC?” Charly Boy added.
