Wasiu Ayinde, a well-known artist from Fuji, has been embroiled in a new scandal with the release of a leaked audio recording in which he declared that ValueJet airline owner Kunle Soname “will feel me in his business.”
The musician officially apologized for his disruptive behavior at the Abuja airport earlier in the week, and this development happened just hours after that.
A ValueJet plane almost hit the artist Tuesday morning after he tried to stop it from taking flight, according to the story. He had reportedly broken aircraft regulations and had been deboarded earlier.
The act was widely condemned on social media and resulted in the aircraft’s pilot being suspended.

The performer was then put on a no-fly list by the Airline Operators of Nigeria, which prevented him from traveling on planes run by member airlines.

In a video broadcast on Friday in response to the controversy, the musician, also known as KWAM 1, apologized to his fans, the airline, and all other parties.

But in the audio leak that is currently making the rounds online, the musician reportedly described what happened and accused ValueJet of making him feel embarrassed in public.

Before directly threatening Soname, he said on the recording that no one “messes with me and gets away with it.”

“You won’t want to see me shut down,” K1 remarked in Yoruba, adding that he is a patient who requires water constantly. Let them curse the incident using the Bible and the Quran. The pilot insisted that I be allowed to enter with the water flask after advising them not to make it a national issue. “Don’t let him go,” she said to one of them shortly after. “If that’s how you want it, then no one is going,” I said.

As others began to assemble, I uncapped the flask and spilled the contents for their observation. “Omo mi ni” (your boss, Soname) means “my boy.” I promise Soname in govt. I’m Wasiu Ayinde; no one does that and gets away with it because I didn’t mean to cause trouble, skip the line, or do anything improper, but I heard, “You can’t go on our flight,” after that. Despite my desire to never again take that flight, Soname will sense my presence in his firm.
