Lebanese Man Arrested For Wreckless Driving That Led To A Severe Accident Involving A Nigerian Lady.

SP. Benjamin Hundeyin Lagos PPRO related the incidence in his tweet which happened on May 4th, 2022 at about 0745hrs. He stated that a middle aged Lebanese by name John Greg male drove a Toyota 4Runner recklessly and against traffic on Sanusi Fafunwa Road thereby hitting one Omotomi Akinsanya Female which resulted to serious injuries on her leg, he sped off but was chased and arrested.
Suspect is presently in police custody, the vehicle has been impounded while the victim is currently receiving treatment at LASUTH. The victim of the family and the Lebanese embassy has been duly informed . Investigation is ongoing.
An eyewitness report from a Twitter user Who had the hashtag “JUSTICE FOR OMO” narrated the ordeal, he said:
I just wonder what will make a white man drive on one way at the top speed in VI, he must think he can get away with anything he does in Nigeria or he can bribe anyone.
The man drove on a One way road, against traffic and was on a high speed around Sanusi Fafunwa street Victoria Island, people had to scamper for safety.

The driver then drove into Omotola and pushed her against the wall. The impact was so much that the plate number fell off. The driver did a hit and run he absconded instead of waiting to care. A Passer by took a bike and chased after the Lebanese man. He was caught, brought back to the scene and handed over to the police.
