According to veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, also known as RMD, he dislikes being referred to as a legend.
This was reportedly stated by the renowned actor in an interview on YouTube called “Curiosity Made Me Ask,” which was presented by Nigerian comedian Bea U.
Since he believes the legend title is a hoax, RMD says he does not accept it, emphasizing that it implies he is nearing retirement and past his best.
“Actors like Olu Jacobs and Pete Edochie truly deserve the title of the legend,” the actor said, adding that he does not yet place himself in that category.

I believe that all of those legends are frauds,” he remarked. I have my tales, such as Uncle Peter and Uncle Olu Jacobs, who are our ancestors and legends. As he stated that Ribena children are healthy, I continued to observe him.
Because they are attempting to put me in the neighborhood of retirees or individuals who should be approaching retirement, I don’t believe that when they name me a legend. Therefore, I do not subscribe to it.
