Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has openly discussed her desire to have body enhancement surgery, stating that it sprang from her postpartum body image issues.
Despite her inherent bustiness, the mother of three revealed in an interview with Saturday Beats that having children made her physique unconfident.
In order to improve her mental and emotional health, she chose to have cosmetic surgery after admitting to being dissatisfied with her appearance following the birth of her third child.
“My hourglass shape wasn’t mine.” My situation didn’t get any better when I started having children. My third child made me look at myself, and I didn’t like what I saw. Feeling content and self-assured was something I owed to myself.

“I needed the surgery for myself, to feel well, okay, and sufficient in terms of my mental health, and no one else. According to Ogbodo, “I am enough competition for myself.”
According to the actress, she decided to be transparent about her metamorphosis since she believes that people should not deceive their admirers.
“People, particularly celebrities, are frequently dishonest in this country. Even if you are a role model, you deceive people who truly care about you. Many people get surgery, vanish, and then come back with new bodies without acknowledging they did it to themselves. “You can motivate other women with your story, so why hide it?” she said.
Using her experiences to inspire hope, Ogbodo went on to say that being transparent is a part of her mission to support women who face self-esteem issues.
She also disclosed that her spouse fully supported the operation because he recognized her struggles with body image and her desire to regain her confidence.
