Nigerians have been warned of impending calamities by Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, who has urged them to take preventative steps against fire breakouts.
Pastor Adeboye spoke at the church’s February Thanksgiving service at the Throne of Grace Parish in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, and stressed the need of prayer, alertness, and taking preventative measures to stop preventable disasters.

During the gathering, Pastor Adeboye advised people, companies, and government organizations to put fire safety first by making sure electrical appliances are handled properly, utilizing materials that are resistant to fire, and following fire safety regulations.
During this time, Nigeria has seen numerous fire occurrences in public buildings, residential neighborhoods, and markets that have resulted in property damage and fatalities.
Pastor Adeboye said, “I have an urgent message to convey.
Praying for protection from floods, storms, and fire breakouts was one of the predictions made at the start of this year. After just one month, the global fire event rate has already been seen. Since Nigeria is a part of the world, we should pray.
Particularly, the cleric cautioned farmers getting their land ready for agriculture to steer clear of bush burning, emphasizing that negligence may have disastrous results.
“Don’t play around with any kind of naked fire around you,” he advised.
During the preparation of your fields, farmers, please refrain from burning bushes. Try not to claim I didn’t tell you. May our wishes and prayers be granted by the All-Powerful God.
In his “The Covenant-Keeping God” sermon, Pastor Adeboye emphasized to the congregation that keeping God’s covenant guarantees His loyalty and favor.
“If you obey and keep God’s covenant, He will make you His peculiar treasure,” Adeboye stated, quoting biblical examples of people who experienced divine favor via obedience.
The late founder of RCCG was also cited by him as evidence of God’s ability to uphold covenants.
“This church was founded by a man who did not complete high school or college, but God called him. God promised him that He would use him to establish a church that would grow around the world provided he followed specific instructions. “Today, RCCG is in almost every part of the world because the founder fulfilled God’s conditions,” Pastor Adeboye said.
Adeboye rejected the idea that his academic success was the only factor in the church’s expansion.
The RCCG General Overseer stated, “Academician Pastor Adeboye is credited by some. Many RCCG parishes, however, are located in nations I haven’t been to, including ones where it is illegal to erect churches. An influential man in one Muslim nation, in spite of his wife’s protests, encouraged our missionaries to establish a church in his yard. The outcome of God’s covenant is not about me.
He assured the assembly that God is still faithful to those who cherish their connection with Him and do not waver in His covenant.
Although there are some who fast and pray more than we do, God has given us incredible kindness. According to Pastor Adeboye, “God will make you His peculiar treasure if you keep His covenant.”
