In a recent meeting former Kano state’s Governor; Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, had concerning his presidential ambition, he recalled some things that took place in his former party – the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The presidential flag bearer of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) said, “I think (chieftains of the) People’s Democratic Party (PDP) are happy to kick my humble self, Mr Peter Gregory Obi and even Governor Nyesom Wike out of the party.”
It is however pertinent to clarify here that Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike, has not officially left the party but was probably referenced by Kwankwaso due to the misunderstanding he is recently having with chieftains of his party.

Speaking further, Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso made it clear that he is interested in a presidential debate with all other Aspirants. He said, “we know there are some presidential Aspirants who are running away from debate simply because they have nothing at all to say. I challenge all of them to a public debate.”
