Kola Ologbondiyan, a former PDP national publicity secretary, asserted that the party is suffering from a coma.
In an interview with Vanguard, Ologbondiyan asserted that despite the party’s leadership turmoil, the PDP is still alive.
When asked if the PDP is dead, the leader responded, “No.” As of right now, the issue is that while the party has fallen into a coma, it is still alive. Therefore, the question of a requiem mass, as some critics have suggested, is not relevant.However, I must say that the party has been permitted to do nothing and is no longer able to carry out its role as the main opposition party anticipating that this trial by error government would put it on its toes.

The people in charge of our party right now will tell you that, “Oh, they have held congresses,” conveniently ignoring the fact that the results of most of these congresses are still being challenged in different courts.
They will also claim that they are selling forms for zonal congresses, but many party members have lost interest in these games after witnessing the way these individuals are leading the party.
Therefore, I will respond to anyone who claims that our party is dead by saying that it is still alive but has to be re-aligned. It must be brought back to consciousness from its present coma.
