The Nigeria Police Force has invited the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, for questioning over alleged criminal intimidation.
He will appear at the Force Headquarters in Abuja alongside the NLC General Secretary, Emma Ugboaja, on September 5.
Ajaero was also accused of conducting himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of public peace and malicious damage to properties.
The labour leader’s latest invitation came just 24 hours after he honoured the police’s invitation for alleged criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.
In a chat with journalists after he left the Force Headquarters on Thursday, Ajaero said the NLC would not succumb to pressures from external quarters to abandon the struggle for better living conditions for Nigerian workers.
