Sammie Okposo and other gospel artists are set to perform at Tope Alabi’s annual gospel concert, dubbed “Praise the Almighty.”

According to Alabi, the 2022 edition will take place on Sunday, February 20 at the Police College in Ikeja, Lagos.

The Wellu Wellu master, as he is affectionately known, sparked outrage when he apologized for an affair with an American during the previous trip in a now-deleted Instagram post.

We noticed the apology post had vanished from his verified Instagram page @Sammieokposo in the early hours of Wednesday, January 26.

Dunamis International Gospel Centre removed his name from the list of gospel artists scheduled to perform at a concert on Friday, January 28 as a result of his confession.

We noticed that Alabi has started a countdown on her Instagram page, with many of her fans eagerly anticipating her arrival.

She stated on her Instagram page in a flier: “Friends, are you ready to be part of ‘Praise the Almighty 2022’? We are glad and honoured to have some of the amazing Ministers of the Gospel at this year’s edition. @pastorpoju, @nathanielblow, @dunsinoyekan, @officialjudikay, @officialenkay, @sammieokposo @spiritofsaco. Date – 20th of February, 2022, Venue – Police College Ground, GRA, Ikeja. Start time – 2pm prompt Nigerian time. Mark your calendar.”
