He made it clear that he is motivated to pursue this role not out of personal ambition but rather out of a sincere desire to serve the community with more responsibilities.
My goal in running for governor is not to gain notoriety or popularity; I have already established a reputation for myself. “What more recognition do I need now that I’ve become the Deputy Senate Leader?” he said.

Ningi emphasized his long-standing commitment to the PDP as well. Since the party’s formation, I have been a founding member. I’ve never left and I’m not going anywhere. In 2027, we want to fortify the party, hold onto power in Bauchi State, and take back control of the country.

PDP stakeholders were urged by Ningi to begin preparing for the 2027 elections, stressing the significance of choosing a candidate for the party’s gubernatorial ticket who has the political savvy required to win and build on the party’s achievements.
