Governor Nasir Idris’s special adviser on power and politics, Kabir Sani-Giant, has been suspended by the All Progressives Congress, or APC, effective immediately.
In Birnin Kebbi on Sunday, the suspension was announced in a statement signed by Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, the party’s secretary in Kebbi State.

On February 8, he disclosed, Mr. Sani-Giant played a practical joke on dignitaries, statesmen, and officials by bringing a snake to Government House.
According to Mr. Muhammad-Kimba, the behavior can embarrassed and damage the party’s reputation.
“Mr. Sani-Giant’s actions violated the APC’s constitution,” he stated.
He said that the party found his actions awkward and offensive.
“His disciplinary action, which could result in expulsion if repeated, is still pending further investigation,” Mr. Muhammad-Kimba stated.
