Sophia Momodu, a fashion entrepreneur, explained why she no longer posts images of her daughter, Imade Adeleke, on social media.
According to reports, the 38-year-old disclosed her explanation to a fan who inquired about her preteen daughter’s internet absence during a Snapchat conversation.
As Imade becomes older, Sophia noted, safeguarding her daughter has taken precedence.
She said that she is more cautious about what is shared publicly and that maintaining her daughter’s online profile is a significant issue.
“To post Imade na war,” the admirer wrote.
“Real battle,” she remarked. I’ve noticed that as she grows, I’ve gotten even more protective.
Imade is the offspring of Davido, a Nigerian singer, and Sophia Momodu.
Her remarks were made some months after she got into an argument with internet users during the singer’s and his wife Chioma’s white wedding celebration in Miami.
According to reports, the conversation started after Sophia shared a video of an American man talking about dating a free-spirited woman on Snapchat.
Some individuals used the occasion to tell her to get married and follow in the footsteps of Wizkid’s low-key baby moms.
Sophia responded angrily to a post that asked her to respect herself and cut back on her online presence, asking why individuals who said they didn’t like her continued to follow her around.
