Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, has hinted that his return to Nigeria is unpopular with the establishment.
He made this statement while claiming that the political battle to overthrow the existing government had only just begun.
During a Friday, televised interview with BBC Hausa, he made the assertion.
As you may recall, I was one of the few persons who publicly informed her that we would oppose and overthrow that regime when it arrived. Nothing that I didn’t say.
“The issue would have been resolved long ago if they had something comparable to what they say they have against others against me. Even if you wish to accuse me, though, be careful to provide evidence. He said, “I’m waiting; I’ll go if someone invites me.”
According to El-Rufai, he disagreed with the current administration since their goals were different.
“I have no personal rift with President Bola Tinubu,” the former governor remarked while discussing his relationship with the president.
