Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong has completed a transfer to Al Khalood, a club in the Saudi Arabian Professional Football League.

Al Khalood was recently promoted to the Saudi top division last season.

Troost-Ekong, who became their sixth intake this season, joins the club from Greek Super League champions PAOK Thessaloniki.

The 30-year-old spent one season in Greece after leaving English side Watford.

During his time with PAOK, Troost-Ekong won the league title.

He has now signed a two-year deal with Al Khalood, with an option to extend for an additional year.
