The Champions League playoff draw has been made public by UEFA, the organization that oversees European football.
Sixteen teams will compete in a two-leg play-off, while eight of the top teams have earned direct passage to the round of 16.

Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Lille, and Aston Villa are among the eight teams that missed out on the playoffs.
The 16 other teams will compete in the play-off round in the meanwhile, and the victors will move on to the next phase.
