VeryDarkMan, a well-known social media critic, has stated that he will not issue an apology for alleged slander against human rights attorney Femi Falana and his son, artist Falz.

This occurs before a court hearing on a defamation case that has been brought against him.

As you may remember, in September, Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, posted a leaked audio clip in which Bobrisky, a crossdresser, accused Falz and his father.

According to the audio leak, Bobrisky said that Falz and his father had gotten in touch with him while he was incarcerated at the Kirikiri Correctional Center in order to arrange for a N10 million “presidential pardon.”

The accusation was refuted by Falana and Falz, who demanded a 24-hour apology and retraction.

Despite being ordered to do so by the Lagos State High Court, VeryDarkMan has refused to remove the allegedly defamatory article.

The social critic stated: “I just arrived in Lagos for the Femi Falana case against me at the Ikeja High Court by 9:00 AM,” in a recent video that was uploaded on his Instagram page. Before that, I traveled to Lagos. As everyone is aware, Falz and Falana claimed that I had defamed them, but in my opinion, I had exposed corruption. The EFCC, which is supposed to catch corrupt officials, is collecting money, and I see things that don’t make sense, like someone going to jail but not doing their time.

That’s what I revealed. Unfortunately, two individuals whose names were mentioned—Falana and Falz—said that I ought to have notified them before making such posts about them. They requested an apology from me. I don’t think my actions were wrong, thus I won’t be apologizing to anyone. Their names ought to be cleared.

Since I went to prostrate myself for Falana, they insisted that I go and apologize, therefore my attempts to show them respect were unsuccessful. The court hearing is about to begin, and heaven won’t fall. I’ll post it if I hear their names again tomorrow. I’m not afraid of fathers. I don’t want a nation where we should remain silent when it’s someone else’s turn.
