According to reports, the 14-year-old vocalist made his musical debut with the release of a five-track EP called Champion’s Arrival.

Less than five hours after its release, the EP shot to the top on Apple Music Nigeria, making Champz the youngest African artist to do so.

Additionally, it peaked at number 71 on the UK Apple Music Top Albums chart and made appearances in music charts in sixteen different nations.

Champz’s project focuses solely on his own voice and inventiveness, with no guest features.

He talks about his dreams for the future, including one day demonstrating love to his children, and considers his early heartbreaks in the song Superstar.

Despite being called a “nepo baby” by some, Champz maintained that the lyrics are wholly original.

The young musician shared that his debut EP is accessible on all streaming services when announcing the release on social media.

Wizkid expressed his pleasure in response to his son’s accomplishment, adding, “We love it man, he’s my kid you know!”

Boluwatife is the eldest son of Shola Ogudu and Wizkid, two legendary Nigerian musicians.

He started his own children’s clothing brand, Czar & Czarina, when he was seven years old. Later, he entered the music industry.
