Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has formally obtained his payment receipt for the purchase of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential nomination form ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The ADC disclosed this via its official 𝕏 handle on Saturday.
The party said the presidential nomination form was paid for May 8, 2026.
Atiku, an ADC chieftain, is among the aspirants seeking the party’s presidential ticket for the 2027 election.

“H.E. Atiku Abubakar, GCON, has officially received his payment receipt to contest on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2027 Presidential Election.
“This development is another important milestone in the growing movement for national renewal, democratic inclusion and people-driven leadership within the ADC.
“As Nigerians continue to seek credible alternatives, the ADC remains committed to providing a strong platform on the basis of unity, competence, economic recovery, security and national progress.
It is expected that the nomination forms will be formally presented on Monday at the ADC National Secretariat, Abuja.
“The movement is spreading. Hope is coming up. More to come.”
It was gathered that the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, have also obtained the party’s form.
