Dr. Danladi Jatau, the speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, claims that the All Progressives Congress, or APC, is still the party to defeat at every level in the general election that is scheduled for 2027.
According to NAN, Jatau made this claim on Tuesday in Lafia while hosting more than 20 PDP members who were involved in the Eggon extraction and were about to leave the party in favor of the APC.
He promised equal rights and chances to all members, particularly those who had recently left their parties to join the APC.
The Speaker expressed satisfaction with the prompt and well-informed decision made by the PDP stakeholders.
Jatau revealed that they will be formally welcomed after he informed the party chairman and the state governor about their relocation.
He called the PDP stakeholders’ anticipated defection “another big catch and victory” for the APC in the state.
For a resounding win in 2027, Jatau urged party members to remain loyal, united, and cooperative.
He also urged locals to keep praying for the success of President Bola Tinubu’s and Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administrations.
Alhaji Abubakar Company, the team leader, had stated that they were moving their tent because of the Speaker and Governor Sule’s excellent leadership.
They would guarantee the party’s victory beyond 2027, he continued.
