President Bola Tinubu’s appointees have been encouraged by Umar Tanko Yakasai, a prominent member of the All Progressive Congress, to include Nigerians in their work.
He called following a Monday Iftar celebration in Abuja.
He believes that the current government’s appointments should strive to be Nigerians’ brightest spots.
Yakasai further cautioned Nigerians to support the existing government and to avoid any kind of religious prejudice or tribalism.
Yakasai, who also served as the Director General of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), stated, “Few of us that got appointed should do everything humanly possible to carry as many members of the support groups as they can along in order to distribute patronage and support one another as well as the president’s efforts to reward party faithfuls.”
This follows Tinubu’s inauguration of Taiwo Oyedele as the nation’s Minister of State for Finance on Monday.
