The Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike and former Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom were hosted by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on Wednesday.
Chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) reportedly visited the governor of Oyo State to offer condolences after his older brother, Sunday Makinde, passed away.
Friday, January 24, 2025, was Sunday Makinde’s death date. He was 65 years old.

Wike reportedly arrived at Makinde’s home on Wednesday afternoon in the state capital of Ibadan, in the Ikolaba Government Reservation Area.
