The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded arrangements across the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LG/LCDAs) ahead of its governorship primary election, with Deputy Governor Dr. Kadir Obafemi Hamzat positioned to emerge as the party’s candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial race.
As the political stronghold of the APC and the home state of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Lagos continues to play a central role in the party’s national structure.
