Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has revealed that a branch of the church in South Africa was mysteriously set on fire.
He was said to have explained that he was made aware of the incident after the resident pastor called him to report that the church building had been burnt down completely during the night.
He said the property was acquired after years of operating in the country and was said to be largely funded by his personal resources.
Suleman said the ministry had been active in South Africa for almost a decade before deciding to buy a permanent place of worship. After the church acquired the building, it was used for their purposes until the unfortunate fire incident that left the structure in rubbles.
He said chairs, sound equipment and important documents were lost in the fire along with everything inside the building. The children’s section of the church was not spared in the destruction, leaving nothing behind.
“Our pastor in South Africa called me and told me that they burned down our church,” he said at a recent church service. We own the building, about 90 per cent of that church was my personal money. I saw the building and got interested. I told myself, we have been in South Africa for 8 to 9 years, let’s have our own building. We bought a building, they burnt it down, no chair taken out, no sound taken out. They even burnt down the children building, all documents were burnt down.
Did it overnight. The person couldn’t be picked by the CCTV camera. It took somebody on the inside who knew where the cameras were. I was a shattered human being. And the Lord said unto me, Thank me. I went down on my knees and thanked God for everything. It was difficult to get a building to rent. Saturday morning they went to look for a building to rent, they called me and said they have seen, I told them to pay for three months and move there.
“The members were angry, some of the young South Africans were prepared to fight. I told them to forget it. So, they are in an elite place now. God knew what he was about. He said, “What the enemy meant for evil, I will turn it.”
