Two Palestinians were killed by Israeli air strikes that destroyed two medicine warehouses near a hospital in Gaza on Saturday.
Palestinian health officials said two people were killed in an air strike in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City. The Israeli military said it had targeted Hamas militants but did not elaborate.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said two warehouses used to store medical supplies for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah were destroyed in a separate strike.
Hours later, the Israeli military said it had struck a Hamas hideout near the hospital that was allegedly used to store weapons. It said it also targeted other sites it claimed were used by Hamas for weapons storage. The military said the operation was ordered by the Shin Bet intelligence agency but provided no evidence to support its claims.

The Health Ministry said the strike damaged two more medicine warehouses and the hospital’s outpatient clinic. No injuries were reported immediately.
The warehouses destroyed by the blast contained critical medical supplies, including dialysis materials for kidney patients, gauze and other items used in routine treatment and wound care, hospital officials said.
Witnesses said the Israeli military issued an evacuation warning before the strike in Deir al-Balah.
International humanitarian law protects hospitals and other civilian facilities if they are not used for military purposes. Hamas has repeatedly denied the accusation that it operates from hospitals and other civilian sites, a charge made by Israel.
The latest strikes came amid uncertainty over a reported agreement on Hamas’ disarmament in exchange for efforts to end the Gaza war.
President Donald Trump said this week that Hamas had agreed to put down its weapons, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not commented publicly on the proposal.
Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir meanwhile rejected the reported agreement, and insisted military operations against Hamas should continue.
