The government led by Godwin Obaseki produced extremely limited and inadequate information about the state’s assets and liabilities, despite repeated requests for a more comprehensive database of the previous administration’s assets and liabilities.

The statement stated that a committee composed of esteemed Edo State sons and daughters must be established in accordance with the governor’s campaign pledge to uphold probity, accountability, and transparency in government and to strengthen the governance process.
