Due to fluctuations in the price of crude oil, some Nigerian gas stations have lowered their premium motor spirit pump prices.
According to reports, fuel pump rates at Ranoil and Sharon filling stations in Abuja and the surrounding environs were lowered from N1,300 to N1,280 per liter.
This indicates that retail gas stations cut their fuel prices by N20, or 1.54 percent.
In the meantime, petrol is sold at MRS and Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited filling stations for N1261 per liter, which is N19 less than Ranoil and Sharon.
Other gas stations, such AA Rano, Empire Energy, and others, charge between N1,300 and N1,330 for petrol.
The gantry pricing at Dangote Refinery is still N1,175 per liter of gasoline as at the time this story was filed, whereas depot owners like Pinnacle, Parker, and Zamson charge between N1,192 and N1,200 per liter.
Remember that on Thursday night, the price of crude oil—more especially, Brent crude—cooled to $107 per barrel after rising to $114.
