Sheriff Oborevwori, the governor of Delta State, has authorized a small cabinet reorganization that will reassign certain commissioners to important ministries.
According to reports, Dr. Kingsley Emu, the Secretary to the State Government, made the announcement in Asaba.
Michael Anoka was transferred from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy under the new setup.
Sunday Tataobuzogwu, who was serving in the Ministry of Energy, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal. Additionally, Rose Ezewu was moved to the Ministry of Primary Education from the Ministry of Secondary Education.
As part of the reorganization, Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu was transferred from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education.
According to the state administration, all commissioner redeployments are effective immediately.
In a related development, Festus Ovie Agas, Frank Enekorogha, and Charles Ajuyah, a Nigerian Senior Advocate, have been nominated by Governor Oborevwori to serve on the Delta State University, Abraka Governing Council.
The administration also stated that the new members of the governing council will be inaugurated on a later date.
