Controversial Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington has predicted second term under President Bola Tinubu’s administration to be hellfire for Nigerians.
Speed Darlington was reportedly quoted in a video published on his Instagram page on Wednesday, as he slammed Tinubu’s ambition for a second term.
The singer blamed President Tinubu’s bid for re-election on the state of the economy and the increasing insecurity across Nigeria.
But Darlington questioned Tinubu’s achievements since he assumed office in 2023, lamenting policy failures, structural failures, economic mismanagement and worsening insecurity.
“You are here breaking your neck to become the next President of Nigeria but you are not qualified to be President again, he said. We already know from your first term that your second term is going to be hell fire.
“When you came to the office in 2023, the first thing you did was to remove the subsidy. You knew very well that everything about Nigerian life is attached to petroleum. Giving those in the oil section thousands of reasons to pump up fuel price knowing fully well that Nigerians are naturally greedy. Just tell me, what qualifies you to serve a second term?
‘’You don’t qualify again, You don’t know the job. “You have done nothing about the rising insecurity across Nigeria.
