Differing opinions Nollywood actor Yul Edochie claims that Africans are fleeing their traditional religion because they are afraid of what other people may think.
In a Wednesday post on his Instagram page, the filmmaker reportedly referred to the trend of conventional religion desertion as an abomination.
Yul declared that he would never deviate from his ancestors’ customs and reaffirmed the strength of traditional religion.
According to him, honesty, justice, and transparency are the cornerstones of African religion.
The actor declared himself a fervent traditionalist and lauded himself using traditional Igbo names.
After sharing a picture of himself in Igbo white, he wrote, “Africans are fleeing their powerful African religion and their uniqueness out of fear of what others will think.” Desecration!

Yul declared in 2024 that he believed God had called him to be the leader of an online church.
Meanwhile, Yul has expressed concern about some recent untimely deaths.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Yul reportedly said that people’s judgments and negligence caused the deaths of teenagers in their 20s, 30s, and 40s.
The movie star attributed the deaths on the rejection of traditions and the adoption of a foreign faith.
He asserted that the powerful spirits protecting a great number of mankind have been degraded and have departed in a fit of wrath.
Edochie urged everyone to return to their powerful and pure traditions.
